The interesting part of this scrimmage was that Memphis was up 20-8 with the Lawson boys not in the game for the 1st half.......

He really needs to improve his efficiency numbers on offense. He shot 41% from the field as a power forward. That is pretty terrible.

Too many jumpers. Over 50% of his shots were either 2pt jumpers or 3pters. Under better coaching, he'll be much better this year. There is a reason he was picked as co-POY.

Well when you don't get help and the coach is clueless how to use you then you can guesss why he has those percentages lol. Aparantly he gave INC front court fits in the second half. Couldn't be stopped. UNC's Joel Berry got the best of our guards.

Quote:We won by 11. Joel Berry dominated Memphis guards and was the best player on the court... Our bigs struggled but had some decent moments througout the game against memphis strong front line. Memphis was missing two key players including their best player who is an AA candidate all the first half due to a funeral. Low scoring game, appeared the defenses are ahead of the offenses at this point. Thats all I got right now if I find out more I will share.

Also heard Kenny Williams hit 4 3s but I am doubting that is accurate.

Also the grad transfer center from Baylor for us had a strong showing. I like hearing our front court played strong. Our guards will develops under Tubby throughout the season
