There have been rumblings from a few places in the off week.

I guess after starting 0-3 in the conference race Tubby decided Gunner learned the playbook finally.

So, I'm gonna guess our AD was terrified of a ~10,000 Homecoming crowd and leaked this out.

I am behind Gunner 100%. I hope he does not put too much pressure on himself and try to do too much. Would love to see him have a nice game.

Based on the performance to date (particularly last week against UConn) the bar is not that high for Gunner. Heck, even if UC loses a tight game but Gunner puts up 250+ yards passing with 2-3 TDs people will highly question the decision to sit him over Moore and Trail.

Exactly. This really is the best case scenario.

If the team goes on a winning streak with Gunner, then TT looks stupid for not bringing him in earlier. So no fear of rooting for the team to go on a hot streak.

1. A win as I suspect will show what IDIOTS Tubs and his OC are/were - idiots.

2. A loss - he smugly thinks - damn I showed those STUPID fans how wrong they were.
