I've figured it out. It took me a while, but I've figured it out. Paul is a HUGE fan of the GOP establishment. I'm glad I put that whiner on ignore.

Hey toad, you could have just gone up a handful of post and then not said something to make yourself look like the blathering idiot you look like right now.

The fact that you think that was what Paul the establishment stooge did to me, is quite hilarious.

Some other things that amuse me about you...
Your hero worship of Gary Johnson
Your happiness of a Hillary Clinton presidency because portfolio

Paul crushed you. deal with CONNman.07-coffee3

Trump isn't even a RINO. He's a democrat, for crying out loud. Always has been. I don't like Hillary, but I doubt seriously that we will be in a materially different place after 4 years of Trump compared with 4 years of Hillary.

But you're a liberal, Fo's a liberal, I'm a liberal for pointing out to others they voted for a Democrat for the Republican nominee. 01-wingedeagle

I think we are all 3 actually Liberals..."classically" speaking. The problem is the terms don't mean anything now. For the record...Im socially liberal...fiscally UBER conservative.

Your hopefulness of a Hillary presidency because portfolio says otherwise.

Your talking points are weaker than Trumps. 07-coffee3

The problem with the "Trump wing of the party" is that while they do identify some legitimate problems, their proposed solutions are nonsense.

I agree that the loss of jobs overseas is a problem. But NAFTA and TPP are not the problem. Our current tax and regulatory laws and processes are what's driving them away. You look at the economics of deals from the company perspective, and very quickly you see what are the true drivers. And simply lowering taxes the way Trump purposes blows up the deficit and debt to unsustainable levels. We need to lower tax rates and balance the budget. We do that by reducing or eliminating deductions (what democrats call "loopholes") to broaden the base, while implementing a consumption tax to close the revenue shortfall. We could have the lowest corporate tax rate, lowest personal tax rate, and lowest consumption tax rate in the developed world, and still have plenty of revenues to balance the budget. That would be an extreme growth scenario. We would probably have great difficulty building infrastructure to meet the demands of growth.

Illegal immigrants are a huge problem on many fronts. Sending 10 million people back to Mexico and building a wall are not solutions. At this point, the most logical solution is probably a permanent guest worker program, with no path to citizenship unless you came here legally.

Obamacare sucks, and single payer would be worse. Bismarck provides true universal health care (which, remember, Obamacare does not), reduces or eliminates direct government involvement in providing health care, and takes care of sick people as well as our system.

Donald Trump is whom you get for a nominee when you let the process turn into a personality contest. Republicans need to be about issues. They can offer better solutions than democrats. But they have to focus on solutions to do that. And they haven't since Newt's Contract.

Trump has no real solutions. The debates clearly have shown that. He does not know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes solving anything. He is a bully with a bankroll. That has served him well in the private sector. He looks like a fcking fool trying it in the public sector.07-coffee3
