I was more so saying the vast majority of Zips fans are also Tribe fans. Akron has issues getting fans to games as is on a Saturday. I can't see many Tribe fans going to a Zips game on a Wednesday when the Indians are playing a game for all the marbles.

No doubt there will be more viewers. Many more eyeballs on the TV than any regular MACtion night.

LOL ya NIU's home game the same day is going to be rather empty. I was planning on going for the first half then go home for the rest of the cubs game but the wife is sick so im likely just staying home.

Well, MACtion is more exciting IMO. And people will want to take a breather now and again during the elections, so switching channels to college football will be a relief for half the viewers, I suppose.

If they call the election winner pretty early, sure. If it's pins and needles deep into the late evening, we won't be getting those eyeballs.

I do think the election would have a negative impact on ratings, however, I don't think it will be as bad as some of you might think. There is a healthy number of people that want nothing to do with politics and will turn ESPN on specifically because every other station is covering the election.
