I think the MWC was discussing maybe adding Rice/UTEP if they lost a team or 2 to the Big 12. With B12 expansion dead (for now), that seems unlikely.

I don't know beag, We Don't care what the Big 12 does.

I truthfully wouldn't give a rat's butt if any of those four left. I'd like Rice to stay just because of baseball.

...while you people were wasting time on a thread about our "no chances" of gettin into the AAC this is going on right now which has a direct impact on us....and why was that thread not moved into the "Off Topic" Forum?? it had nothing to do with Southern Miss....the brain cell must have been lost in the move over here.

If it happens, break off and take the best of what we can to form a new league. Get rid of the dead weight and make things more regional. At least then we'll have fans traveling to the Rock and we'll be able to travel to their place as well.

As for Rice baseball, schedule them OOC every year. I don't think either team would have a problem with that.

Well if that does happen we should bite the bullet and just join the SEC.

Texas State is in the Sun Belt. If the other 3 want to leave CUSA, good for them. Who here is really gonna miss 'em? Even UTEP hoops ain't what they used to be.
