Wink Another Attendance Thread
We should all figure out who Arizona is using to count attendance and have them do ours too.

I saw the early part of that game and the stadium looked pretty full. The score at the half was 34-7 in favor of USC and add that to their dismal season so far, you can understand why most fans left at halftime.

Yeah, those pictures are presented to make it look bad, show one that's half way thru the first quarter.

Plus the hill was packed with students. Those aren't counted as attendance. Oh wait, that's somebody else's reasoning.

There you go either confused or just making crap up...I going to call it confused.

the berm is not counted in the total number of seats...it's standing room. So the people sitting there are counted (or suppose to be).

The championship was another story...only a certain amount of student tickets were paid for. So total attendance had to meet those numbers or Western had to write the conference a check for the 2 or 3 extra thousand students. About 1500 to 2000 sit on the berm/hill

137 degrees on the field? That game shouldn't have even been played if that was true.

That's not just miserable, it's deadly.

Arizona obviously subscribes to the Tulane system of auditing and advanced accounting for digital virtual attendance appraisment. 03-banghead

Memphis put out a box score of 4,117 a few years ago and it magically changed to something like 38k the next day.

They're just exaggerating, it might have been close to 100.

Now, now. We all know Tulane dropped all of its technical programs after Katrina. They didn't appeal to Tulane's target market (lazy rich kids from the Northeast).

Actually, it was the other way around. THE 38k number came out first, everyone laughed their ass off, then the 4117 number came out.

Must have been a "dry" heat. That does seem to be deadly. I have seen 128 degrees in the shade with very low humidity and that was bad. But the worst was 110 degrees with 90 % humidity which was unbearable. Considering the dryness and heat that can happen in Arizona, I believe 135 degrees on a dark green field isn't out of the question. Playing in those conditions should be against the rules.

That 128 degrees was in Riyadh and the 110 with 90 percent humidity was in Dhahran. Lovely places I wish to forget.
