Here's the thing. if what you say is right- the big 12 would be dissolved(allowing departing schools to take their NCAA tourney units. TCU, Iowa St, and Kansas St would go to the AAC or MWC.

As a more established brand, I'd expect the Big 12 to backfill from the MWC and American as opposed to ISU, K-State and TCU exiting and the conference dissolving.

It's all a guess, but for me it depends a lot on the playoff format. I think if it is 8 team playoff with autobids it will be the same.
I also want to see what happens with the whole repetitive head trauma thing. Football as we know could be drastly different which changes everything as well.

Yes.
Baylor is the largest Baptist university in the nation in a conference centered in the most Baptist-centric part of the country.
The school has dumped a ton of money into a state of the art football stadium. The men's basketball program has won consistently.
Waco is a mid-sized (read: no professional sports) market, a model that's worked very well in places like Tuscaloosa, Knoxville, Gainesville, Athens, College Station, etc, etc.
I think Baylor gets in before TCU once the SEC decides it wants more than one team in Texas.

Those 3 won't have control of that. I'd say look for 1 of those 3 to depart as well for a P4 conference- and then there you have your 8/10 super majority to dissolve.

Not happening. Lots of fans were all pissed when Missouri was added (who I really like). The SEC has repeatedly shot down WV (who I also like). No offense but Baylor is probably 10th or worse on our list

Hmmm ...
So Iowa State or Kansas State or TCU ends up in the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?
Do you think any of those three schools would have a better chance to "move up" than Baylor?
Why?

Plus, while the expansion debacle was a great distraction, the SEC admins have not forgotten the absolute cess pool Rape U is and wants no part of it. NO other power conference wants any part of it.

I don't think Mizzou remains in the SEC, long-term.
I think the Tigers will end up reunited with Kansas in the Big Ten.
And I don't think the SEC would stand pat if Missouri leaves and the Texas/Oklahoma Four heads west.

People have short memories.
Do you not expect Art Briles to become a head coach again?

Yeah, if there is an 8-team CFP with P5 autobids, then the Big 12 is still around and UT and OU are still part of it. With that CFP format, no "football school" is going to move to a more-difficult-to-win conference.

Baylor will never be in the SEC. The Big 12 is as good as it's ever gonna get for those jackwagons.
Try again when you can come up with a more plausible list
