While this point can be argued from both sides, the number of "old school" posters (jeb, jms, etc.) hardly ever post here anymore. We used to have a lot of guys & gals that brought real substance to the board. They "seemingly" have been run off by a proliferation of goofballs. At least, that's what it seems like to me.

Mike Aresco and the AAC are alreay in talks with Amazon to Broadcast Possible Women's Basketball and NON-Revenue Sports which could lead to bigger Deals when our ESPN deal ends....He is talking with Amazon, Google, Twiiter and Facebook....Amazon it wanting more Live Sports including College and Live sports on a Global scale....ACC deal with ESPN runs through 2036 and SEC Deal runs through 2034....What everyone fails to Realize is that NEW and Better Platforms are out there and Coming fast....Amazon is on the Verge of Launching a Platform making Live Steaming Like Cable on the Internet....ESPN DOES NOT have the Flatforms for Live Streaming like Amazon, Google and some others yet....Cable is dieing and Times are Changing....If you think peopole would not watch AAC or MWC or even MAC on these platforms and follow OUR schools, and I bleed Tiger Blue and Gray then you are truely not up to the Modern times....You guys acting like ESPN and a P4 would destroy university's and that just is not the case....Again would the Revenue match up to say P4's out the gate no....But you let the AAC Build it Product on Amazon or Google and THEIR Platform which have a Wide and Far reach more Globally then you will see MWC Mac and Other G5's say hey we too have Content and you create your OWN League....The Casual watching Sports fan would watch it because they are just that the casual Sports fan interested in more of a good game and Product with A level of competitiveness without watch the Same teams over and over Which becomes Boring....Wh does the NFL work better now than before because its NOT just the Same teams like Dallas/SF/ Pittsburg ect anymore Dominating at will because there's a salary cap....But Believe me Aresco talking to Amazon for possible Women Basketball and NON Revenue sports with Possibility for even more after the ESPN deal or even a Combo with ESPN for another Short term Deal with AMAZON and Maybe even Google in the Mix is on the table....Mike Aresco knows the TV business has worked for ESPN/ CBS and has lots of friends in the Industry and knows where the Future is heading and is trying to get the AAC there NOW and make a Major step before others can try and follow his lead....Amazon hire James DeLorenzo and and former Youtube Executive Charlie Neiman for oversee Sports Partnerships and Business Developments....The World has not come crashing down on Tigernation nor the AAC.....Now lets go beat the Hell out of Navy, win out our Schedule win the American and go to the NY6 bowl and Curb Stomp hopefully a SEC foe like UTK or Rematch with Ole Piss or LSU or even a Miami.....#The World Is Ours Memphis....

I recognize all kinds of posters have been "run" off.

I don't think it's ONLY the "good" posters.

I can see all sides of the argument without having to agree with it and my opinion is that to think the YMT crowd has run this place for a long time is pure bullshtt. I remember not too long ago when Pastner was still the head coach and there were "good" fans defending him and as it turns out, they were dead wrong...and folks were getting banned on both "sides".

If you think it's only Jeb and whoever who don't post here anymore, then you don't remember a lot of the old time posters.

Speaking of banning folks, the mods did finally get rid of Stammers. To me, that proves that moving things toward rational discussion is at least somewhere on the mod checklist.

Just fyi,tho, it was not Pastner some of us were defending.

To ceaselessly decry him was not helping our program overly much, imo.

But just for the record, I chose not to introduce myself in Vegas at the tournament. And Pastner was siting less than 15 feet from me all--- smiley in the pregame warmup.

I never got what was so great about Jeb. You should see some of his Twitter rants. As for JMS I think basketball's inept coach ran him off as much as anyone from YMT. I still find it interesting that YMT is continually bashed on here, even though it no longer exists, while another board that will go unmentioned is always cheered.
