I said the same thing last year against Vandy and Illinois, and Middle always lays egg against these very weak P5. Vegas has Middle as a 5.5 dog. Missouri program is still in shambles from last year and Middle can beat them but history says otherwise.

That would be fairly big upset with Army as a 18 1/2 point favorite. I think NT might beat the spread but Army is decent this year having beat Temple, Rice and UTEP handily and lost to @duke by 7. I would be really surprise if NT wins after watching them play Marshall

North Texas @ Army The long gray line is enjoying its best year in an awful long time, and the Mules kick the Mean Green back to Texas.

Prairie View @ Rice This may well be the only win of the season for the hapless Owls.

MTSU @ Missouri The Tigers may not be strong in the SEC, but they are too much for the Blue Raiders.

Charlotte @ Marshall The Niners give it a good go, but the Herd survives to gain their second conference win.

La Tech @ FIU The Dogs bite the Panthers to help put some measure of sanity back into the East.

Old Dominion @ WKU Once again, Lord knows how bad I want a Monarch victory, but I think they come up a little short after giving the Toppers all they can handle. Nah, screw it. The Monarchs steal one in my upset special to sit alone on top the East! (So much for sanity in the East!)

UTEP @ UTSA The Runners win the battle of the UTs -- big time.
