The traditional signing period for football starts in February. This year they implemented a 3 day early signing period on December 20th. It should force the hand of these "verbal" commitments that are waiting for a better offer. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

The uniform number certainly matches Jarrell, but I think it looks much more like Shinskie. You are probably right though.

Very true. I guess I should have looked a little closer at the picture.

So, if we assume the commit was on the official visit, it is either #14 Jones or #5 Jarrell. I'm starting to lean towards Jarrell since coaches and recruits are following him.

Tall, lean, and appears to have very good tackling mechanics. He covers a lot of ground so should be an excellent FS for us.

I hope it is Phipps. 6'3" 215lbs and runs a 4.6. Athletic pass rushers are a premium in this league, especially with quarterbacks becoming increasingly mobile.
Oh and not to mention it's always nice to get recruits who Richmond has offered.
