They're not adding 6 schools. That's just fantasy talk. I would even believe this no expansion thing before that. It's going to be 2, maybe an outside shot at 4. But additions of more than 2 at once are rare outside of reloading immediately after a raid by someone else.

Remember, the Big 12 was already been raided by losing 4 programs. I tend to blame Texas trying to be the top dog in the conference for what this conference came down to. Arkansas was smart in leaving the SWC away from Texas, and refused to join the Big 12. Arkansas might reconsidered joining the Big 12 if Texas was not in the conference a long time ago. Oklahoma wanted Arkansas because of the connections between the 2 schools like Barry Switzer.
