I actually did go and it was not fun in any way shape form or fashion I knew what to expect from the city. We still not "entitled" to a "better" bowl for any reason.

I actually did go and it was not fun in any way shape form or fashion I knew what to expect from the city. We still not "entitled" to a "better" bowl for any reason.

Eh, fans can be as picky as they want, especially when we are the ones taking time off work, paying for crappy hotels, and watching the game in a terrible stadium... Besides, it is not like our pickiness is actually listened to by the bowl committees.

I would go back to Birmingham in a heartbeat. It would mean we were playing an SEC school in a bowl game.

Heck, didn't Memphis have a parade or something for beating North Texas in some bowl I can't even remember? Or am I mixing that up with Cal and the NIT?

Still, if we play an SEC school in a bowl game and its a 3 hour drive from here, I am definitely going.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I recall year after year after year, in the 70's, 80's, & 90's where we never got to .500. Many years not even close.

Arguing over bowl destinations makes me chuckle.
