We should be ranked ahead of Ohio State, we have swept two ranked teams, and Ohio State is 1-0-2

Rankings are screwy this time of year anyway, you have ranked teams who still haven't even played yet.

I can't stand some of the obvious early season bias towards certain teams.

Some of these changes make no sense:

#3 Q loses in OT to Maine and only drops 1 spot to #4?
#4 UMD splits at home to #5 Irish, moves up two spots to #2? Should of dropped and Irish should of moved over UMD
#6 BC splits with Wisconsin for their second loss of the year (which was Air Force who split with newly formed D1 Arizona) and they only drop to #10?
#7 SCSU gets swepted by MN State (giving up 10 goals), has 0 wins and only drops to #14?
#11 Providance loses to Holy Cross and only moves to #15?

Three teams with 2 loses still in the top #10?

get at least a split at DU and we're in business, more than that and we might be for real.

I'm not saying we should be ranked at this point, beat some good teams down the road and then it's a different story. I'm still skeptical as to how good Ferris and BGU really are in comparison to the top 10-20 teams nationally.

DU will be a good test, but I like they way we match up. We have played them very well the last couple of years, just not ending up on winning side of the score board.

I think we are a better team this year and I don't think DU is as good as they were the last 3 years, so I'm very optimistic going in.

The Pairwise is the only ranking that matters in hockey. I love its objectivity. But so early in the season, none of them matter. Its all about winning early to build momentum, chemistry, and getting ahead of the curve. We are in good position so far. Just got to keep the mojo.

Damn, thought we'd be ranked after sweeping 2 ranked teams.. . . . . .but FSU hasn't won yet and I don't think BGSU is much better.

Still, I'm just happy that we're looking better then the past couple years. Looks like we have a lot more goal scorers. 8 goals! Not even the CCHA Championship teams scored that easily.

Don't like this early bye week. Kills some momentum.
But it's probably nice to have a little break before Conference play.
