I keep looking for things to pop up on the various athletic department webpages for surprise pressers and announcements. There is nothing out there.

It's different when you work with ESPN with any major stake. They control the information. I believe they had the inside scoops on the ACC additions (Pitt, Cuse, and Louisville) whereas other conferences and programs pump out something themselves. Will the Big XII be like this?

Are they gonna play the hat game like recruits do?

Is this the first thing the B12 has done right in the process? I.e. No leaks

I'm wondering if BYU/Cincy is possible. I'd think that Houston was the top candidate, so i wonder if its is BYU/Cincy/Houston/?

There is a problem that they are facing. SoS is hurting the Big 12 big time. Even though Houston is strong, they did not have enough votes to get in. Boise State might be an interesting school for football only because it could give the Big 12 the data points for the SoS for the playoff committee. 3-0 in the Fiesta Bowl is nothing to sneeze at. Plus, the Broncos does run the same type of plays that Washington U. is using that the Big 12 really needs to compete against them.

There's not going to be anything to it. Bowlsby may announce some details of the CCG, and will announce that the decision at this time is no expansion.

Doubt he'll give any type of real answer to any serious/accusatory questions.

I agree. I doubt he says much at all. I will be interested to find out eventually what really happened. Maybe the networks really did buy them out?

I can't believe a school would put themselves out like this unless it was a guaranteed invite.
