Silver Lining For Next Year
The bad news is we lost - albeit to a very good team on the road. The good news is we found some very good young players to take the place of some of our seniors next year who graduate.

Next year we lose two running backs - Flanders and OSU senior graduate transfer student Raymond Taylor who has been impressive in limited duty. We will return D'Angelo Brewer and get Ramadi Warren back from a year off to strengthen his grades. Ramadi had an impressive year in 2015. But as much as we run the ball, its nice to have that 3rd back and we evidently found him in Corey Taylor, a 5-10 200lb back from Holland Hall/Air Force Prep. He was impressive against a quality defense at Houston.

in 2017, we lose Atkinson and possibly Keevan (although we are working with the NCAA to get another year because of his injury in 2015). But we obviously found a future star in Keenan Johnson a 6-1 190lb WR from Alto, Texas. He may have been the most impressive wideout we had against Houston.

So it looks like we have some very nice replacements for the ones we lose next year. Its very important we get our young QBs some valuable experience since we lose Dane. But at least whoever that is will have some skill playing along side him.

This years OL is still pretty young and should gain from another year of experience, but now there is more skill to look forward to.

Go TU!

The problem......Quarterback.......if we happen to have any blow out wins we sure need to get next year's QB in the game.

Absolutely agree on that. It will be intresting to see what developes in spring ball with that position.

The good thing is that we are starting to see more and more of PM's recruits on the field. If the QB next year is of the quality we saw from those two youngsters at WR and RB against Houston, we are in good shape.
