SEC Week Eight
Now that we are past the midway point:

Umass@SC - Noon SECN
A&M@Alabama - 3:30 CBS
MTSU@Missouri - 4:00 SECN
Arkansas @ Auburn - 6:00 ESPN
Miss St @ Kentucky - 7:30 SECN
Tennessee St @ Vandy - 7:30 ESPNU
Ole Miss @ LSU - 9:00 ESPN

Some GREAT matchups here so I'll give quick predictions on all of them

SC 35(!), Umass 9
A&M 35, Bama 31
Missouri 45, MTSU 28
Arkansas 38, Auburn 20
Miss St 27, Kentucky 7
Vandy 20, Tenn St 3
Ole Miss 35, LSU 28

Thoughts here? SC, Vandy, UK, and Miss St all need wins here to even give them a shot at bowl eligibility so it's make or break time for those teams. I love Arkansas this year and think Ole Miss is very strong too. LSU without Fournette is vulnerable and Bama is prime for an upset.

Sad to say, but I think you guys are our only chance this year at an SEC home win.

I am just really encouraged right now.

The Clemson loss was self inflicted and we played Texas A&M tough. Honestly, I think we lost both of those games because Gus was being ridiculous with the offensive play calling. Since Lashlee has taken over full time we have been moving the ball. We'll see how it turns out.

Our defense is nasty. If our offense keeps up what it's doing, we'll be in business.

Gonna be another good battle.

I didn't expect it to be this bad. But I knew giving up 38 wasn't going to happen or losing by 18. Gus will put in the subs now and the score won't be as bad. Ever since Lashlee took over the play calling the offense has been moving the ball. Gus is the #1 reason we're not sitting at 6-0 or 5-1 worst case.

Want to trade Vandy to CUSA for MT? We can beat tons of MAC teams, and also get occasional wins over the ACC! That's an upgrade, right? 04-cheers

In all seriousness - good game today Mizzou. I was sad to see so many players injured. What a great tradition you all have, I learned a lot about the tradition of homecoming. Hope you are back soon, at least in time for 2022 when you come down here to the Boro. Good luck rest of the year.

Yeah was crazy 56-3. Like I said I didn't expect that. I was thinking 38-17 type game.

Good lord was I wrong. I thought Auburn was a phony top 25 team. Way off there.

SEC Week Eight
Kind of strange to think Kentucky actually has a decent shot at winning the SEC East, although the Wildcats will need Arkansas and LSU to beat Florida.

It actually would be possible for all of Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Florida, and Kentucky to finish at 5-3. Vanderbilt would have the toughest time pulling that off given their next opponent is Auburn.
