I am going to predict we break the 30k mark this weekend... 30,100.

RE: EMU ticket sales
we won't break 30,000.

The a-holes in the yellow chairbacks will be home watching scUM vs. Illinois. 03-yawn

Unless people buy their tickets on stubhub.

I anticipate in the 25,000 range. Not gonna beat the Homecoming attendance. Hope I am wrong, however.

A perfect day would be a WMU victory, combined with wins from Toledo AND Illinois. The first two are likely, the last, ahhhh, not so likely.

Everyone please have safe drives to and from.

Go Broncos!

It will be interesting to see if a day game helps or hurts attendance

RE: EMU ticket sales
Just spent some time on the WMU ticket site. By my count, it looks like there are 3,548 tickets left for sale. 2,800 of which are in the south end zone.

So assuming we get 7,000 students into Waldo, and we get a decent walk-up. We could be looking at crowd around 28,000-29,000

I ended remember sitting in the south end zone as a student against Virginia Tech.

How about 8,000 students come on out?

I'm confused...where is the "South end zone". I thought we had east and west end zones? As for the people in the yellow chair backs, those would be the people that have largely been supporting the program for years...through good and bad! I wouldn't dis them.

Technically, I think, the southwest end zone. It's the scoreboard end zone

It would be easier if our field actually went north and south like 99% of other schools

Good point about the angle of Waldo.

Here is a link to a satellite image that demonstrates its odd angle.

That said, it is a wonderful place to watch a game (the MAC's finest, along with the Glass Bowl) and I am looking forward to a great crowd, electric atmosphere, and Bronco victory tomorrow.

Go Broncos!

I doubt they will be home watching scUM, but it doesn't impact attendance if they show up or not. My understanding is that official attendance counts include all season ticket sales.
