Well, I'm not going to the game next weekend but not because it's Cutt or LaMonroe. . .because it's four hours away and I'm sick of making the trip between S. IL and Mempho already.
If you think Jackson to Memphis is bad, you should try Memphis to Makanda. Yuck!
I am already on the Reality Squad, though, pea>NUTS. Wry still has my application from last year. You told us so, I have to admit. Wavy Davy sucks.

But, as heartbreaking as that will be and as much as it will kill me inside, I will always be a Rebel. You can take the wins away from me, but it's still in my heart.
Good post, Rx, and I will be there, too. I just love the thought of not going to the next game after a heart-breaking loss. It's my way of coping with it, but I'll most definitely be there. I told my wife I wasn't going this Saturday, and she just said, "Yeah right, whatever". I've already been talking to her this morning about what time we will leave for Oxofrd Saturday. She knows me too well. You're right, it's not the players' fault.

I'm probably not leaving Jacktown until around 1 on Saturday since my girlfriend is working, but I should be on campus by 4pm. I'm bringing her to her first ever (and first of many to come) Ole Miss Game. Kinda glad I didn't do that THIS weekend.

This is a reckless attitude that shows you don't care about Ole Miss.
Do top-10 teams boycott their programs after losing a game? Do top-25 teams boycott their programs after losing a game?
We are still going to do well. Cutt has not had a losing season since he's been here and he won't have one this season either. Memphis was just better than us on Saturday. We'll win this weekend and if you aren't there then you'll miss out. When we beat Florida, you'll miss out on that one too. The only one you are hurting is yourself.

When we beat Florida
1) What are we ranked, sir? I agree with not boycotting, but your argument isn't very good. We are not ranked because Elmer Fudd is a sorry, pathetic excuse for a coach.
2) Ok, but what has he won of any merit? A few Indy Bowls? Wooohoooo!!! Winning seasons mean jack if you've got nothing more than a .500 SEC record, AT BEST, and a friggin' Indy Bowl win to show for it.
3) True, but Memphis State was also prepared because they are extremely better coached!
4) And your point? LaMonroe proves absolutely nada!
5) Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! :stupid:
I see we left someone deserted on that island. Shall we go back for them?

I'm in the South End Zone as well. And thank you guys for finally coming around. Some of yall were starting to hurt my feelings. Besides, all my friends seem to have fled Oxford and won't be at the game Saturday. So, we'll be going at it alone; I at least needed yall there to help me yell.

Rx, if it were right before the Egg Bowl, and we were 0-11, I'd still be there. I may be ticked off at the way the season has started, but I'll always be there to support the Rebs provided that work doesn't interfere.
I have to...those tickets and hotel rooms are already paid for.

Most of it was just anger talking, Lynne, at least on my end. Anyway, I'll be there to help you yell. There are a few things I wanna yell on Saturday anyway. If you wanna find me, just go find Still, then turn around I'll only be a few rows behind him again.

Wiz will probably be in the same place, as usual, but we are being forced to move this year. They've added a lot of landscaping all of a sudden where we have tailgated for years, but we have a new spot planned.
And yes ma'am, as long as I'm breathing and God allows me, I'll be attending Ole Miss games......

I most likely won't be setting up this weekend since my girlfriend is working till 1 on Saturday. We're going to head to Oxford right after she's off work and stay Saturday night. Hopefully, we'll be set up for Texas Tech. I think I may do Mexican food for that one.

I dunno if we'll set up or not. I feel goofy going out there with just 2/3 of us and decking it all out. So, I might just run through the Grove and see who can be seen and then head to the game early to yell dirty things at Cutt

Oh yes definitely do Mexican for that one. Also, one little favor to ask of you and everyone else, please PLEASE buy some tortillas to that game with you. Yes, in the game. We have a little payback to give them, as far as the fans go, and on the field but I'm not counting on that. Last year in Lubbock, me and my counterparts got pelted with those damned things by their student body. Could y'all help a fellow Reb offer the same treatment?
