Back during the Big East days, this was when we would traditionally swoon, once the calendar turned to late October and we had to make 1,000 mile road trips up north to play in weather much colder than our Florida fellas are used to.

That only if in the slight chance they don't get selected by the Big 12, but the AAC won't go for that, so it will be off to the MAC for FB for them. Good conference, though, and you only need a VW bus to get to everything.

I don't think UConn would ever do anything that would downgrade their football. But I also think if they really did go Big East in basketball, we wouldn't kick them out in football. It would be cutting off nose to spite face.

Like it or not, and whether they are winning or not, UConn is the biggest overall brand the AAC has. The only state flagship, the best academics outside Tulane, etc.
