Well let's just forfeit the rest of the season, then...sheesh. Talk about clueless.

No one is talking about forfeiting. If you aren't familiar with the concept of winning/losing based on things like facts, odds, stats, schedule then that's not my fault and perhaps you should seek some professional help instead of replying on a message board calling someone "clueless". I really pity you.

RE: Huge game next Saturday against #25 Navy
It should be a good chess game of adjustments especially on defense. Ball is a better DC compared to last year's DC. Navy's OC of the Flex-bone is good with making adjustments in blocking assignments. The key for the Tigers is the DLs keeping the OLs off the LBs by stepping down thus clogging the scrimmage line up in addition to keeping their gaps filled. Plus the OLBs must key off the A back to stop the QB and prolong the pitch. Tigers' DBs are much more solid in their assignments this year.

The problem with Veer and bone offense is they're a ball control offense and not very good at mounting comebacks(not saying they can't, just harder) due to their reliance on the play action pass for cheating up DBs trying to stop the run. Hopefully the Tigers' offense will put them on their heels by jumping out in front.

Plus I'm not sure our HC was fully engaged for last year's game with Navy. The team certainly didn't look as prepared for it.

I could be wrong.

They are coming off a bye week. We are second behind them in the west. They will be at home. It is going to be very difficult for us to win we we have not had a game that we looked like we have our ish together. We had be ready for a fight ,it's going to be a street brawl.

There was definitely some 'disconnect' happening with Fuente.

I remember seeing shots of him on the tube and knowing he was off his game--I even texted a friend who was there and told him I was worried: 'this is the first time I've seen Fuente looking destabilized/ unbalanced,' I told him. It was affecting his relationship with Lynch, it seemed. Fuente was always 'so there' for Paxton when he was having trouble.

Camera can't hide that **** lol.

YOU GO Snow. I'm with you. This is football. Our Defense is better that people think.
the Tulane game preps us for the Nay game. Now all we need is better blocking and seals by the OL and the Recievers and we will dominate.
04-cheers

RE: Huge game next Saturday against #25 Navy
We struggled last year with their offense, obviously. As a reminder, the game itself was tied midway through the third. They then broke the tie with a long passing touchdown, then pulled away in the fourth. Many schools have struggled with them, but at the same time, I would not quite equate them with a game at Alabama. No one is really going that far but the idea we cannot win or winning would be monumental is a bit hyperbolic.

Our defense is better this season. They will correctly be favored, but this would be a mild upset at most. Go Tigers.

Yeah, it's definitely winnable. Navy is always a tough matchup for most teams. They are extremely disciplined and execute the option incredibly well.

I'd say this game is a toss up...
