The real question for all of us, is how do we respond. Consider that we had the majority of the final teams to be considered. How do we not go to CSU and Air Force and speak to them about consolidating power in the G5?

For once I want Aresco to be proactive. Convince ESPN that having 1 super power in the G5 is better for them. They can bid on 1 league instead of paying for 2. Get them to cough up enough to get BYU, CSU, Air Force and one other to join.

We have a real leg to stand on. Overwhlemingly our teams were the ones looked at for expansion. We are clearly the best conference in the G5 and by banding together the rest of those top contenders, we can seek out "emerging P6" status.

I hope that they go with no expansion... and if so, I think it could workout well for the AAC.
