Been watching this on Sci-fi. Not what I expected. Was thinking more traditional vampire hunter in modern times. It's not that and has a good hook for the audience. Well made with a better budget than some of their shows.

--Vampires have more of a zombie feel to them, only there is a way to be cured.

--It's an apocalyptic world where groups are surviving against the odds similar to Walking Dead but different enough to not be a clone.

--Premise is vampires existed in hiding and a large volcanic eruption blackened the sky for a few years giving them reign over everything living during that time. One woman is the key to humanity's survival.

If the writing keeps up with the direction of the story, it could end up a fan favorite.

Anyone been watching??

Concept is awesome, actress is crazy good looking. Show is slow and boring.

I disagree. They are still setting up. But there have been enough moments in each episode so far to hold my attention and that ain't easy.

I've been watching. Probably will keep watching. Apocalyptic landscape getting crowded, though, with TWD, FTWD, ZNation, et al.
