Hard to believe if Both TROY and USA are eligible neither go to montgomery.

If TROY wins the conference we are suppose to go to Nola. I would think USA goes to Montgomery. but if TROY doesn't win the league I still think we would go to Montgomery.

NOLA can take whoever they want...remember? Champ Rule was removed a few years ago.

RE: October 11 SI Bowl Projections
Would surprise me to see us back in Montgomery because I feel like bowls try to avoid having the same team back to back years unless there is a geographic factor that brings a mass amount of fans. Also that one projection having South in Tucson while NMSU is in a southeast bowl is a head scratcher to me. If Troy and South both make bowls I expect them to split the Alabama bowls, leaving us and GS splitting NOLA and Orlando.

NOLA generally takes the champ correct? Not out of the realm of the possibility but I have a hard time seeing GS as the champ after last week.

Can't believe we still appear in these. Give it another week or two and you won't see Georgia Southern on these anymore, or if you do, it's further proof that national media types pay the G5 little to no attention.

I wouldn't mind if we ended up at the Cure Bowl this year, because I will actually already be down there for a family vacation to Disney.

I'm fine with any bowl, if I had my preference New Orleans would be interesting. Even if its back to Montgomery, me and my buds had such a good time and the town was soo hospitable, it was just awesome.
While in FCS the playoffs were lots of fun and I wouldn't trade the National Championships for nothing, but the bowl games seem to be a chance for the hosting town to celebrate and show off what they have to offer, its just more of an event.

Can they keep up the resurgence at Troy? And does any Sun Belt team have a shot at the Access Bowl bid? http://saturdayblitz.com/2016/10/12/grou...-rankings/

Troy would be the front runner at this point but with the loss to Clemson. Western Mich would have to lose, Boise State would have to Lose 2 games, and Houston would have to lose 1 more. Plus the Sunbelt need have a good showing with the rest of there out of conference game.

Sure its possible but not likely.

In the past 8 seasons NOLA has taken a team that tied or won the Sun Belt outright four times, and when there has been a tie for first, taken the winner of the tiebreaker once and passed on the winner of the tiebreaker once.

But they get first choice right? Or is that GoDaddy?

UCF fan here. I'm hoping we get the Cure Bowl vs Georgia Southern. We need some revenge for all the whoopins we got in our D1-AA days!
