Clemson in deep trouble now. NC St with the ball 1:54 to go tie game still- but 22 yd line of Clemson 1st down. This would be a huge one- and would totally take Clemson out of control of their own destiny.

Very happy for Minn. Game started out dreadful.

But at this point, I can feel pretty good at the possibility of MN being "the best of the worst" in the Big Ten. I think Kill only won 4 Big Ten games one other time. So that would be something, at least. 7 wins total after a pretty each non-conf slate.

Heck, maybe even 5 Big Ten and 8 total, if they can take the home game against NW.

So 5 minutes from now, when NC State beats Clemson, what are the ramifications? Who is the biggest beneficiary? The PAC and Big 12? Louisville?

2002 NC State team, almost finished in top 10. Chuck Amato head coach. Philip Rivers QB.

Were undefeated, but then stumbled three L in a row (the last two to Maryland and Virginia, both finished higher in ACC standings), but then came back to upset FL St (won ACC that year), and finally beat Notre Dame in Gator Bowl.

dumb*** play calling by N.C. State in the last 1 minute. You run the ball to get into position to win and try a pass on a roll out lose 5 and then take it down to 3 seconds where if there is a bad snap you don't have the option to call time and reset. Then in overtime you throw right down the middle on the first play and lose. One called pass play led to not being able to run the ball in closer with 2 timeouts left and the other loses the game. Brilliant!

This Clemson team is way overrated. Top 10 maybe? Top 3, no way!

yep agree. but the thing is, they're in the playoffs if they win 4 of their final 5 games and then the ACC title game pretty much guaranteed(unless Washington and I think West Virginia win out).

Now let me think.

Where have I heard this scenario before????? "Undefeated ACC team keeps winning games, week after week, that they should not have won ....."

Hmmmmm.....

Tennessee has Alabama just where they want them, down 14-0 14 seconds to go 1st period.
