The problem is, those of us in the G5 have an up hill battle. If Houston loses to Louisville, you can expect to be in the #20 to #30 range. If Navy loses another game, they won't find the Top 25 again. We are all held to a higher standard.

If SDSU wins their next five games, maybe we will be ranked, but probably not. Its an uphill battle.

Houston #12 in coaches poll. Navy, USF, Memphis and Tulsa receiving votes. Navy and USF really close to breaking the top 25.

Thats good UH at #13 and Navy at #25. We should end up with at least two teams ranked at the end. Boise and Western M have to lose.

At 13 getting an atlarge is very possible if the committee agrees... getting to 6-7 beating Louisville is very possible

Tulsa got a vote in the Coaches' poll. Not sure if Monty is a voter or not.

Still ahead of Boise thankfully. Just no room for error going forward.

According to this it looks like he is. So it could have came from him. Chad Morris is a voter also along with a handful of other AAC coaches so they might have gave us the nod. Urban Meyer and Ron Caragher of SJSU is on there too so who knows. It surprises me either way.

Clearly, for this to happen in the next two weeks, is the ideal scenario.

Interesting that the AAC has a one loss team in Houston ahead of a zero loss P5 team in West Virginia.

A 2 loss Houston team should get in over and undefeated Boise team with a **** schedule.

Looks like everyone would be better off staying in the AAC than going to the No Defense Conference.

We got problems with this Access slot... Houston could finished the highest ranked G5 school, and still not get the access bowl to a lower ranked G5 conf champion. Weird. The opponent is going to want the 'best' G5 program in that NY6 bowl...

Did they just assume that the highest ranked G5 school would be a conference champion?
