I think we see FIU and UTSA in the championship from how they have evolved and strengthened so far.

I wish you were right. FIU is better than they were, but we haven't beaten a good team yet, with no disrespect to our opponents... there are definitely some better teams in the east than FIU, but FIU is likely better than people thought early on. Firing Ron Turner has been a great decision so far.

I have seen a genuine, legit, computer ranking that has Rice all the way up at 11th..

. Charlotte is 1-1 and 2-4.

ODU is too high at #3 or #4. We have had a great turnaround from the 1-2 start, and we are all excited to be playing well, but our competition in this 3-game streak was towards the lower end of FBS rankings. That UTSA and Charlotte have had upset wins since is great, but ODU has yet to play in a "big game" against the top dogs in the conference since joining CUSA. Two weeks from now @ WKU will be that opportunity. Until then, we are enjoying the attention, but have much to prove before earning such a lofty ranking in this league.

I prefer to break the rankings down by divisions.

West
1). Louisiana Tech- Great win over WKU
2). North Texas- Still learning Littrell's system and might already have the best D in C-USA
2). UTSA- Exposed USM this weekend
4). Southern Miss- Not the top of the West
5), UTEP- Is Kugler's seat hot yet?
6). Rice- How long can Bailiff last?

East
1). M. Tenn. St.- Could be the best team in C-USA
2). W. Kentucky- Can't see them winning at MT this week
3). Old Dominion- Refreshing to see a new FBS team play well
4). Marshall- Not where they expected to be this season, and that is bad for the conference
5). FIU- Beat UTEP, but that's not saying much
6). Charlotte- Beat FAU, but that's not saying much either
7). FAU- A 7 point win at home over FCS program Southern Illinois, is all that is keeping FAU from being 0-6

1. MTSU - No question who #1 is this week
2. La Tech - Big move up
3. WKU - It had to happen at some point
4. ODU - Impressive win
4. NT - Improving every week
4. UTSA - Biggest surprise win of week of upsets
7. USM - Look for big bounce back
8. Marshall -See a turnaround; too much talent to totally waste this year
9. FIU - Making firing coach look good
10. Charlotte - Congrats on first CUSA win
11. Rice - Week off may help
12. UTEP - Bad home loss, Maybe most disappointing team in a league full of them
13. FAU - At least still have UTEP and Rice on schedule
