The Good, Bad, and Ugly of Miami
The bad first...even as the loss yesterday stings, and despite the blocked extra point and losing streak against FSU, the rest of the schedule is pretty hard. They still have road trips to Blacksburg, South Bend, NC State, and home games vs. North Carolina and Pitt. Miami isn't back yet, and this schedule will trip them up guaranteed

The good....Richt is already stockpiling talent on D. The young players on the Hurricane D are the future of the team. They played exceptionally well, and Miami is on their way...They can't let the FSU game define them, they have to go out and keep playing the Coastal Division teams hard. Go beat the snot out of North Carolina, and go into Blackburg with confidence

The Ugly....the fans can't throw crap and act like babies everytime things don't go their way. The new Hard Rock stadium looks good IMO...the fans can make it a fun venue if they want

IMO the Hurricanes are in good hands with Richt. Transition years are tough on new coaches and I'd say he's done a great job overall thus far. To go from Al Golden to Richt is, well, are you kidding me? Richt coached in the SEC and knows what it takes to compete at a high level week in, week out. You mentioned defense and you can't be successful in the SEC without recruiting DEE and you add that background to the Canes and the future is bright. Indeed. Wish my alma mater could say the same - P5 status with a great coach at the helm.
