Based on the responses from Houston fans after the Navy game I'm concerned that Houston won't be able to field a team due to injuries.

Should Teh Rivalry be postponed?

We didn't postpone it when half our team and Dr Phil had the flu. We're not postponing it now. 100-6! Never forget!

As long as Ward is on offense & Oliver is on defense, they will be very hard to beat.

Wilson and Taylor are back. Catalon is practicing in a yellow (non-contact) jersey. Herman said he would return last week if he didn't suffer a setback, which he did. Hopefully another week added to his recovery will have him ready to go on Saturday.

Bowser had surgery today and will be out another 4-6 weeks.

He might also try a heavy dose of the Brewer-Flanders running combo. They've been mowing people down the last 2 games. If they can do close to that good against Houston we'll have a fighting chance.

We run best when pulling a guard and running off tackle. When we jam it up the middle we will have occasional success but it gets stuffed often. We tend to run it to the point that the other team is just waiting. This does open up the off tackle and play action but I think we wait too long to pull the trigger on those. Add 5 more of those plays a game and I think our running game will be on point.

Tulsa has the formula from Navy. Run the clock, make ward throw the ball and hit him hard and often

Notre dame ncstate was a monsoon. Houston v navy was a stiff dew. Navy didn't have any problem throwing the ball.

Injuries, coach leaving, distance, rain. The list of wah wah wah keeps growing.

Houston wins if:
No injuries,
No rumors,
No rain,
No travel

Lmao

It's not like your team walked that distance. What was it, a 3.5 hour plane ride?
