Tuberville statue?
Earlier this year, UCF announced they would build a statue to honor George O'leary.

Given the tremendous contributions Tuberville has done to Cincinnati, when he retires in 5-10 years, will Cincinnati honor him the same way?

No. He won't even get a sidewalk chalk mural. However, a starched toilet paper Origami bust is possible.

Hey... If that's the price of getting him out of here, give him his darn statue.

Then when the pigeons crap on it, I can finally appreciate the winged rats for something.

Take this one. We don't really need it anymore. You can get it refurbished.

Personally, I was thinking they could use this picture as a model. It's a great representation of the stability and prestige he brought to the University of Cincinnati.

Tuberville gets ECU next.

Cincinnati is right on schedule to have a season good enough to maintain the status quo.

Fans aren't happy with the status quo. 7-5 and a bowl loss doesn't cut it here. Not when you still have top 20 finishes and 12 win seasons fresh in your mind.

90% of fans want him gone. I don't think the admin really cares much either way.

When local media is running stories on what his buy out dollars are ...yes.

http://www.wlwt.com/article/details-of-t...ed/5280896

Highlights include a $2.4 million buyout if Tuberville is fired before Dec. 7, 2016. The buyout is reduced to $1.5 million after that date.

Unless the NCAA shortens games to two quarters, we're not even going 7-5 this year.

Cincinnati fans seem hell bent on firing him, but I would be careful. He is a coaching LEGEND and was the 2015 AFCA President. He has sway in the coaching world and if the Bearcats let him go, he very well could dissuade potential candidates from taking the job. Personally, I think UC should hang on to him given he is the crown jewel of the athletic department and is very helpful for the conference's perception.

I think Cincinnati needs to replace him, because your football program is starting to go backwards! 07-coffee3

Wow. Not sure where to begin. Coaches are smart. Despite Tubs having respect, he's over 60 now and he hasn't been successful at his last two jobs. Coaches know that. They'll look at the resources that the university has committed to football, and make any decision based upon that. In terms of crown jewel, I'll give that to the coach that pulled UC out of the ditch that Huggins drove the basketball program into.

I was going to say, the Tubbs statue should be him following through after hitting a solid 7-iron.
