So long playoffs...
Welp, that sucks. Hopefully the CFP will have a field that won't make me rue this final score(in other words, it wouldn't have mattered).

Well, at least the P5 will have a real excuse to keep the G5 out. After this loss, I don't see anyone else having the needed resume.

Easy there tiger lol. Gators are in no position to claim a spot in the CFP, nor do they deserve it after the Tenn debacle and the crap win last week.

Plus, you must be new here.... I do root for the AAC and UCF.

I really wish Houston had won and kicked ass in the playoff. Their success benefits the league financially and image wise.

Would you have rooted for your school to lose against Houston?
Cheers!

This ^^^^^^. Navy was the better team today but it would have been great to see UH make the playoffs. Only chance us midgets would ever get.

Absolutely not, I would hope we kicked the crap out of them, but I wouldn't have been angry about losing to them if it meant an ultimate win-win for us, them, and everyone else.

Houston still has Louisville. I am not saying it is a win but if they go the rest of the way without a loss they would have the best resume for the access bowl. They still have that to play for and it keeps the conference at the top of the G5.

You forgot Navy will need to have 2 ACC losses as well or it doesn't matter if Houston wins out.

Not if 3 way tie with 1 loss. Then the division goes to the highest ranked..

Let's be honest, there's no way Houston was making the Playoffs. The committee would have stuck you at 5 and gave you a pat on the head for giving it all ya got, sport.

Houston is in the drivers seat for the NY6 bid still (assuming Navy loses once in conference), that Louisville becomes ever more important though.
