Pic vs fumble
They really need to re-evaluate the rules.

When you have plays like the one today in aTm and UT when the receiver has he ball and just never brings in in and it ends up being caught by the defender in the fly. It should be charged as a fumble instead of INT.

Why have it go against the QB when the receiver cannot hold on to a ball that is right in his basket.

More like baseball rules.

Does pitcher get charged with earned run if a fielder commits an error on a play that should have ended the inning and a run scores because of it?

RE: Pic vs fumble
That's the quarterback's fault for throwing the ball in the first place. If he didn't want to be credited with a turnover, just hand it off to a running back

Using your example. If he hands it off and the RB bobbles the hand off and drops the ball, even though the QB sticks it cleanly in his belly. Does the QB get charged with a fumble? Or is it the RB which is charged with fumble?

You seem to be very interested in the Utk's qb's stat line

How many of Fergusons INTs were due to someone else on team tipping or not catching ball?

In order for something to be a fumble you have to catch the ball...

Stats are stats you have to watch the games...You cannot rely 100% on them.

An Int can be caused because the receiver ran the wrong route how would we fix that one?
