Does it matter. My school wasn't ranked 6th (WAAAAAAAAAAY to high for Houston in the 1st place, except everyone was trying to shove them down our throats) and expected to contend for a top 4 playoff spot (Which Houston had no shot at).

That's some funny crap, left behind and unwated. Whoston went 2-2 against Marshall in football while in CUSA. And they had a whopping 2-7 record against Marshall in basketball. Hardly a dominating performance by the Coog'd Its.

Louisville will beat their heads in on Nov 17th and they will lose at least one more to someone they shouldn't. Id give the inside track to the Access Bowl to Boise State and if someone trips them up it will probably go to Western Michigan. I don't see anyone beating WMU this year.

How good would it have been for G5 schools if the XII snatches them up? Houston would get the attention it deserves but then the rest of the G5 would get left in the dust as usual

I'd say this loss increases the already high probability the cougars lose their coach to a P5 program.
