OT: Non SBC games Week 6
Lets try and keep all non SBC games limited to one thread guys. There are notable games that are probably noteworthy out there, but they probably aren't worth a full thread about them on the SBC board

Some notable scores so far

Oklahoma 42
Texas 34 4th Quarter

TCU 24 Kansas 23 1:99 left

UTSA 55 Southern Miss 32 1:00 left

NC State 10 Notre Dame 3 4th quarter

They've played very well all season until this game. With LSU on deck next week, it's likely they weren't really prepared for this one.

I'm not sure Southern Miss should be overlooking a conference opponent for LSU. That LSU game means nothing, the conference game means everything.

Yeah, that's just an excuse P5s use when they lose to G5s.

By the way, I didn't actually mean that as a shot at Troy, although it may have sounded that way (after reading the other thread). I actually thought they looked like a top CUSA team until today, they just looked lost.

Every team can have a bad day...TROY basically lost to a bad ULM team EVERY year we won the SBC.

USM will bounce back

some games are just bad match ups for teams/coaches.

see USA against any variation of the triple option

Yeah. It's all good. I could absolutely be wrong. Their new coaching staff is good, but squirrelly at times. They've certainly showed they can play for a title up until tonight.

I'll have to go to Aztec Mesa to watch SDSU meltdown again about how losing to USA will keep them out of the Access Bowl.

Tennessee has 6 turnovers against TAMU. Still alive down 14 with the 3rd quarter winding down.

Yep. Crazy. And they're still in it.

Houston loses 46-40. If they beat Louisville, I still say they get in over undefeated W Mich.

Eh. You guys have been run over the Triple Option. Our games, sans the 2014 encounter, have all been very close games until the 4th quarter when a Jaguars mistake (or in the case of last year, 5) allows us to pull away.

South even gave us a ton of trouble in 2012 against what was likely the best football team at Arkansas State in the last 30 years, and South was in their first year of FBS football.

I don't know. Navy's not supposed to be as good this year. Could be a harmful loss if Western Michigan or Boise goes on a run.

Wow, TAMU looks to go up 14 and put the game away with break away TD, but Tenn defender comes from behind to punch the ball out through the endzone at last second. Then Tenn marches down the field to tie it up. 0:41 left.
