Can't say I blame you......I've made too many commitments to the LSU game next week, otherwise I would not attend that absolute ass beating we are going to take.

After this ass beating and the coming LSU beating, I'll expect about 15,000 and less from here on out at our home games. The season is over, only some of us realize that now. Glad between the 3 coaches we've had since Fedora that we've had one decent season. Sad really.

I didn't want to admit it but it looks like Southern Miss football will never EVER recover from our own stupid bone headed decisions.

I'm disgusted. That was a pathetic non-effort to start the game, and it didn't get a whole lot better after they put themselves behind the 8 ball. There was no sense of urgency except for a few plays leading up to the INT on the goal line, then it was gone just as quickly. Johnson's year as head coach stunk, but the difference is these guys are supposedly still trying and still couldn't do any better than this crap?

I'm not going to get mad if a team loses honest. Sometimes the opponent's just better. Sometimes your luck just sucks. That team today, though, looked like it couldn't be bothered to suit up & play a game--just lazy & unmotivated. If this is the best Hopson can put on the field, he needs to resign in shame the day after the season ends. Today--the performance moreso than the result itself--was inexcusable.

After a couple hours and a couple of adult beverages, the words that come to mind are still "unprepared" and "low energy". No urgency. Not ready to play at the beginning of any game this year.

I want to like Hopson and we need him to succeed. But crap. It's hard to watch this team.

I (incorrectly) thought that this team would steamroll over everyone except maybe Marshall and LaTech. Never thought we were as good as say the 2011 team but I still thought we'd be a favorite for the CUSA title. After today, the only game I'm sure we win is Charlotte. We're way undersized at DL and our linebackers all play like 2013 Terrick Wright.

Maybe they'll turn it around. CUSA is SO bad that we still probably have a 50% shot at winning the West and a 25% chance at hosting.

Just once, I'd like to get through a season without hearing a commentator, coach, or player utter the phrase "they wanted it more." That ever happening should be unacceptable.

I had obviously been drinking 90 proof George Dickel mixed with Sunshine/Kool Aid to think we would win any more than 6. I can't recall exactly but it was a bunch more than that.
