Two 4 game series...UT and Trees. Like it. But with both Stanford and Pepperdine coming east this year, doesn't seem likely that we would travel west twice next year.

Stanford is reciprocal; not sure about Pepperdine. I asked Shu today when I renewed and he didn't know. Remember, last year we scheduled home series with ECU and UCF without reciprocity.

March 3 to 5 is a great baseball weekend in houston.

Rice plays Pepperdine, U of H plays Cal State Fullerton and the 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic returns to Minute Maid Park March 3-5.

The three-day tournament will feature the University of Mississippi, Baylor University, Texas Tech University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University and Louisiana State University.

Agree 100%. It used to be a ritual for me to go to the MM Tournament. Every year. And thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, with the new format..leaving Rice and UH out... I could care less.

It's their party and I guess I understand the rationale of Big XII vs SEC.
I'll pick another weekend in the Spring date for my Rice weekend. And enjoy it at Reckling.

I suspect I'll come in for the first 11 home games vs. DBU, SE LA, Pepperdine and Stanford.

Looking ahead, the CUSA tournament in Biloxi interests me. I was in Biloxi in September, and drove past the ballpark, MGM Park, several times, and it looks like a really fun park and I know Biloxi is a really fun city.
