So they lack transportation but move more often?

Source?

Bottom line is that there's 2 years between elections Max, 2 freaking years. Do you honestly mean to tell me that Democrats can't plan ahead for voter registration sometime in those 2 years? In urban areas there's a DMV every couple miles or so. In NC we offer a free ID and register people to vote at the same time. I'm just not buying this leftist lie.

I said they lack the transportation capability of upper class people, not that they lack all transportation means. Try reading closer.

If you don't think poor people have more stressors than the upper class I don't know what to tell you. Lack of money security and job security make it tough for starters.

Your premise is silly. You're talking about millions of people, many of whom change their address, so to get 100% registration is impossible, unless you pass a law to automatically register people, which the GOP would fight tooth and nail. If you're asking why everyone doesn't always register on their own volition, well maybe it's not at the top of their priority list (see aforementioned money and job security, and kids). I don't even know why I argue with you. It's like you guys live in some carefully crafted right wing cocoon.

I'm just trying to eliminate the excuses. 2 years. Being poor isn't an excuse to not get registered.

Democrats will not be happy until you can just show up say a name and cast a ballot.

Absolutely and their votes should be weighted based upon their adjusted gross income. The more taxes you pay, the more your vote counts.

As long as there is a basic requirement like proof of residency or an ID then sure

I'm talking when it comes to vote. I do believe we need to clean up the voter rolls.

in person voter fraud is something like 1% of all types of voter fraud. it's a non issue.

So Trump's vote wouldn't count?

Is income tax the only tax?

Let's hope these people who will be registering remember Gov Scott's attempt to keep them off the rolls! Trump is so fuct in FL, and maybe Rubio should be worried!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/judge-extends...ction.html
Quote:TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- A federal judge on Wednesday extended voter registration until Oct. 18 in the battleground state of Florida, due to the disruption and damage from Hurricane Matthew.

During a hearing Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Mark Walker agreed to extend the deadline for six more days. He had already extended the Oct. 11 deadline one day, after the Florida Democratic Party filed a lawsuit last weekend, following the hurricane's brush with Florida's east coast.

Walker said he acted swiftly because "there is nothing more precious than having a voice in elections."

so the law was only for democrats and not republicans?

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Dems benefit more with more generous voter registration deadlines generally speaking, although the toughest hit counties by Matthew leaned Republican. Still a net positive for Dems, which is why Scott wouldn't extend it and the DNC sued to extend it.

Dems benefit because an every growing segment of their demographic must have their hands held, begged and accommodated to do damn near anything besides get to the DSS and anywhere that sells booze, lottery tickets and cigarettes. It is all about priorities for these folks. Registering to vote is no where on their list of important things in life.

Quote:More than 108,000 people registered to vote from Oct. 11-18, the extra week that the judge ordered because of Hurricane Matthew after the Democratic Party filed a lawsuit that accused the state of disenfranchising a large pool of potential voters.

Details through Saturday and posted on the state Division of Elections web site show that 78,474 people have been added to the rolls for the current election, and an additional 29,749 people were being verified, for a potential total of 108,223. (That's more voters than were registered in Citrus County on Sept. 30, which was 104,652).

Wow! That’s 108,000 people Governor Rick Scott tried to prevent from getting to the polls, all while ordering 1.5 million residents to evacuate ahead of a deadly hurricane.

I think the governor should ignore all deadlines in the law for anything.
