I'm heading out to watch the X-Country Race in Sugar Land this evening but since it should be finished by 6:00 p.m. and there's no college football in town this weekend, any suggestions for a good high school game tonight?

Well I wouldn't bother watching Clements-Austin at Mercer Stadium down the road because Clements is awful (I saw them last week in Ridge Point's homecoming game). You could consider seeing Dulles-Hightower at Hightower's stadium (about 3-4 miles east of the XC meet on Highway 6). But I'm not sure that will be much of a game either.

You might want to consider going over to Clements (just past the mall off to the left on Sweetwater) and watch the Clements-Ridge Point Volleyball match (I think varsity starts around 7 pm?). Ridge Point has some really good young players who will be big recruits down the road, and two of Deric Rutherford's daughters start for them so you'll probably see him at the game. You can also find a number of decent restaurants at the Town Square right next to the mall where you can eat in-between events. Let me know if you go - maybe I'll see if my daughters want to go too.
