EMU only scored 28 points on BGSUcks, while everybody else has been getting 70+ points.......

Who's saying we've "arrived"? We are just happy that we aren't abysmal this year. Relax.

Worse thing a team can do is look beyond another conference member.

I doubt the Rockets want to sleep walk the first half and decide to play only the 2nd half...

They won't. Luckily for all of us, the fans don't dictate how mentally prepared a team is for a game. Even if the fans are, Toledo's team isn't overlooking anyone.

You don't have to worry about that, the Rockets are coming to play. Maybe we can put 70 points on EMU and give them a wake up call. Who have they played?

In a perfect world for EMU, they would be 3-2 with a loss to 4-1 BG, and Toledo would be looking ahead to their rival next Saturday. But... BGsucks and EMU is the focus. We just lost a heart breaker and will be looking to pound someone. EMU is on the schedule... Happy homecoming.

Toledo shouldn't be overlooking anyone with our perpetual #2 finish every year.

I assume you also saw the scores of those games. Simply put, Toledo should win the game but no one expects Eastern to just roll over and hand them a win. Play uninspired and we lose another game we should have won. Happened twice to end our MAC season last year. We need to be undefeated in conference play heading into the WMU game. I just don't see many MAC teams being able to stop our offense consistently. We can grind it out or go for the quick strike TD. We have not had 4 good solid receivers that I can remember - ever - and also one of the top rated QB's in the nation along with a likely NFL running back with a back-up who is just as good.
