How many TO's did he have tonight?

Should have had 3 that he didn't get. Not sure. Haven't studied stats

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.....didn't

We've got a problem at right tackle. Ole Miss wore him out and so did Temple. When we're in pass protection, he never looks like he knows who to block, which makes him foot slow and easy to beat.

Just do not want him to lose confidence while we are waiting on the OL to mature into a unit. Back to back games without him throwing a TD could get into his head. Thankfully he had no picks. That really would have messed with his head.

Have an extra day of practice before we head to Nawlins.

BTW if anyone is going . Try to find Pride and tell him he really needs to bring back Brodie. The show is lost without her.

How do you know what will or won't mess with Ferguson's head? Are you a mind reader?

Actually BOTH tackles. Tate has also allowed a number of sacks and picked up a number of key penalties this year at LT.

Not much actually changed in 2nd half. We had two running plays where we over loaded the end of the line with two TE to seal the inside and then pulled a guard to kick out those defenders coming in from the outside and our RB made two good runs.

Other than that, when Reddick was in the game we still could not control him. One three and out in the 3rd quarter when he made the tackle on all three plays.

No, I have something called common sense. I know that is a unfamiliar concept to you.

Two straight games of getting knocked on your ass on every other series while not throwing a single TD, but throwing several picks. Would have an effect on the confidence level of any player. Especially one who has only played five game in Div 1 football.

That is the reason coaches red shirt Freshmen QB when they can and do not thrown them out there. Also the reason NFL coaches prefer not to throw a rookie out there first thing.

We got an OL and QB problem
I am not going to criticize our team at 4-1. Either some of our fans are blasé about our current success, or they are "glass half empty" pessimists.

Sure, there are some things that our squad could do better, but we've managed to win 4 out of 5 games doing what we are doing. I have confidence that the coaching staff will improve us as the season goes on. I love our effort and the way the team seems to stick together.

You have to be really looking for something to gripe about to be complaining at this point in our season. If you don't like our personnel, remember that this is not pro sports. We are not trading up to improve our O line. The staff will be doing whatever they can to shore up our line play, but if we can win with what we've got on the field, how can you be so negative?

Isn't it great to be able to b1tch and moan and complain and bellyache and whine about your team?

Right after they score 31 points in a half?

With a 1st time head coach who is among the youngest in the FBS?

After playing a bruising road game against a top 15 team?

In their stadium?

On only 4 days rest?

And still be 4-1?
Is the youngest

The line is an issue but Dorceus and Henderson are better at finding holes and breaking tackles

Sam is basically a third down back/slot guy

Definitely good in the slot. Good third down option in the pass game. Has a knack for getting free/open. We have plenty of much better rbs

RE: We got an OL and QB problem
The more I think about it and observe, it's obvious our players are even more bonded this year, and just love it when their teammates succeed. The joy on their faces as they ran around after the touchdowns, the sack and the picks last night was so much fun to watch. Those who made plays were mobbed by their teammates. They definitely know the crowd is in the stands and they want to win for us.

This is a great group of guys and their coaches have really excelled at getting them to think as a family.

I think they are too, particularly the D. O will come around when Riley gets rolling and earns more of their respect.
