RE: Ugly but a conference win
Have a son living on Wilmington Island (Savannah), GA. Mandatory evacuated Friday AM (he and family are here with us in ATL metro). Wilmington Island is 10ft above sea level. Storm surge was approx 7 ft@high tide. Not a good scenario. Access to that area is still not passable. No power, dusk to dawn curfew & getting notice that a 3-day period before return will be allowed. This area (Tybee Island, Wilmington down to St. Simon) & north at Hilton Head all saw 100mph+ winds and storm surge.

Tough to focus on the Tigers with all of this going on. Glad to hear our Tiger family has been safe through this storm.

Amen to that.

Temple fights us like Tigers.

They seemed quicker and more elusive. Sometimes we were grabbing them up top and their legs kept going, and other times our arms grabbed thin air. It was annoying me. lol

You prefer grabbing the bottoms?

Whatever brings 'em down to the ground soonest with no penalty incurred--looks like that might be around the ankles or the knees.

In retrospect, tho, I do prefer one of our guys doesn't find himself on the ground holding onto a jersey with none of his teammates coming to help--especially in a close game that has under a few mins left.

I thought the same thing. In basketball too. Always field Tough teams

If you've been to Temple campus, you can see why. Takes tough kids for the Philly streets. Been to the area frequently and not a big fan.
