RE: Zelis out for the season.....
Anybody who is 6'11 and has a year under his belt of experience can add value. Especially if we're trying to get to the "Big Dance." Hope he can bounce back from the injury.

Someone mentioned this in another thread, no impact for the team in general, but tough for him personally. Best of luck to Zelis!
First, I think you're wrong, every injury impacts a team.
Second, feeling how you feel is one thing, feeling the need to express it over the news of a young man's injury is another.
It's just not necessary to do that
It only served the purpose of making you sound crazy.

Feel bad for the guy. I actually thought he would be a important piece for the team this year. I hear Noah McCarty will be good but time will tell.

You need depth if you're going to make a run for it. Hopefully the other big guys will make up for this loss.

MD is a liar. He makes ridiculous claims, but can't back them up.

Totally agree. You need depth to be successful so this will hurt. You can't just replace him with a walk on. Hope he can recover. Bad break for the team especially since he has another year under his belt.
As far as football fans ever wanting basketball to be bad, that's just absurd. I've never heard this from anyone, period. Most football fans want a better basketball program because it helps the overall brand and opens up doors for football. Many times have I seen people complain that we need to improve all sports.

What in the world are you smoking?
Some people just get off on bad news for basketball. It happens at every high school too , the crazy competition between football and basketball. I know several huskie football fans who feel threatened by basketball and I just think it's silly
You truly are insane MD. Seek help.

When he starts supporting the efforts to move to the AAC when a slot opens up, we know the therapy is starting to kick in.
