Miss Maryland for traditional purposes, but Louisville is a clear upgrade from a financial standpoint. ACC is having its best start to a football season ever (?), and Louisville is playing a very large role in that.

Whether or not Wake is in the ACC, I'll still be an ACC fan. Comes with the territory when the ACC HQ is about 15-20 miles from where I grew up. He probably targeted the wrong Wake Forest fan to illustrate his point. Looks like he/her is a bitter AAC fan, wishing that his/her team was in a P5 conference.

Sad.

Why?
Wake Forest is "the little engine that could" and Maryland is "Jabba the Hutt".
Maryland has made their bed and I hope they will be very happy in their new home, but Wake Forest is a part of the fabric of the ACC and has a home as long as they want to stay.

They still make more sense in the ACC. And I still view that as a hostile takeover of the President/AD positions at UMD by outsiders from the Rust Belt.

To be fair, this is the same board that thinks Tennessee and/or Penn State would come to the ACC.

To be fair, those hypotheticals are based upon the ACC Network pressing home the conference's enormous TV set advantage and the ACC having substantially larger paychecks.

To be fair, some people also have dreams about returning to the 8-9 team ACC, before expansion reared its ugly head.

Doesn't mean it makes sense, nor is it even really worthy to discuss.

Also, its quite obvious those dreaming for Maryland have never had to share a conference with them. A lousy football experience and a basketball crowd that can be as classless as they come.

Glad everyone is happy UofL is in the ACC over Maryland. But to be fair they are 4-0 this year... so far. Wouldn't mind having Maryland back in the ACC. They fit here better than the Big 10.

Maybe they can come back when ND joins us fully in football. Not a bad #16.

Nah. At least Wake Forest tries, and they provide the conference valuable services off the field.

Maryland for NC State? In a skinny minute.
