Cincy's Tuberville tied with Urban Meyer: 2 Wins From Top 50 All-Time
Tommy Tuberville ranks #1 in AAC Coaching Career Leaders in All-Time wins. By the end of this season, he will have climbed a few rungs up this ladder, well into the Top 50 All-Time (with Urban Meyer).

I don't think it can be downplayed that Cincinnati signing Tuberville was important for the conference. It started the trend of AAC teams poaching autonomy coaches (such as Tubby Smith and Frank Haith).

As he proceeds up this list, I'm even more pleased that we have him at Cincinnati. Even though he's just 2 wins from joining CFB Hall of Famer, and Houston great, Bill Yeoman, at #50, I am proud of the success he's brought.

The man deserves to be extended. He's just a season removed from a conference championship and he's a good ambassador for the league. I don't think many other coaches could do better than his 28-16 at Cincinnati.

Hopefully, Cincinnati will recognize his entrance into the Top 50 wins of all-time club.

Congrats Bearcats

Tuberville is definitely a legend. The Bearcats should be proud to have him and hopefully he stays there for a very, very long time...07-coffee3

At Cincinnati, as long as he's got them going to bowl games, I think he's good. He is doing his job.

He is a legend. If they want him out, they'll probably have to offer him the job of AD.

No offense but it does seem watered down. Imagine how many games Bear Bryant would have won if he had a 13-15 game season? Or Pop Warner? That said, I say congrats...

Pop Warner usually played a long schedule at Carlisle.

Tuberville: 'We're 3-2. A lot of people would like to be 3-2 right now.'

With lofty satisfied expectations like that , the sky is the limit for us.

Seriously we beat an FCS team (barely) , hapless Purdue and win-less Miami Oh (barely). Who wouldnt be pleased?

You all are cruel .

Tuberville has been around and has seen it all. He knows how hard it is to win at the college level. He's a great stabilizing force for UC. Bearcats should be honored to have him.

Bummer that they are about to knock Coach Yeoman out of the Top 50.

Of course, Yeoman coached in an era of 10-12 games per year max.

The article is only countng major college football schools and wins.

Grambling's status was on the fence back then of being major or not.

Even after taking out salary, if there was an AAC coaches draft, i would take Tubberville last.
