Me too. I was really worried about if he would be a contributor this season or not, but it looks like he is ready to be the first big off the bench. We won't have a lot of height on the front line, but we should be fine as long as we don't run into a freakish pair of teams like Purdue and UK with their multiple 7-footers again.

Help us Obi-Wan Cronin, you're our only hope.

Seriously though. A nice basketball season would be just what the doctor ordered.

I want to see Jacob Evans, Jacob Evans with a dash of Jacob Evans on offense.

Yes, but we also had a lot of good players last year. I'm optimistic, but remaining calm until I see results.

If our defense against the three quarter court heave improves, the possibilities are endless

What has you guys excited about Scott?

The frontcourt looks really thin to me. Clark should be fantastic, and I think Washington will be good too, but beyond them? I don't think we can expect much from either Scott or, especially, Brooks, as first year big guys. The only one left is Moore.

Love that starting five and I'm incredibly excited to see what Cumberland can do from day 1. Depth worries me as there are a bunch of unproven guys on the bench. Need Jenifer to give them some quality minutes this year. I wasn't as down on him as some others, but he had a ways to go last year.

Three 4 stars starting. Maybe 4 depending on how good Cumberland is. And that doesn't include our best player Troy. With what appears to be a solid bench. Could be Cronins most talented team yet Top to Bottom. A lot to be excited about.

Troy Caupain played the last 3 months of the season with a groin tear? OUCH.
