What an opponent to have and create a more modern achievement. NIU has owned us. But this is the time to reset that relationship. And put an old unmatched 6-0 start to bed. My concern is we run the table (as does Houston) or we have one loss. What"s the reward for a tremendous season? ESPN says Dollar General Bowl vs Troy. Even EMU is projected to play USC!! It"s early but that ain't right.

If EMU plays $outhern Cal, it would be the first time that $outhern Cal plays a MAC team in school history. WMU was suppose to have that "honor" with game one of 2017. EMU plays spoiler lol.

Hey, if a ticket to the game gets coupons at Dollar General, I'm happy as heck!! :)

The bowl projections though aren't good when doing last-minute power G5 vs G5 matchups. *IF* we're 13-0, and Boise is 13-0/12-1 -- we'll be playing each other in a bowl game.

They'll make sure we're not playing a 7-5 Troy team.

I'm not going to worry about what Bowl WMU gets into until we are Bowl eligible. Also, any bowl is secondary to winning the MAC.

Lastly, some wise man once said Dollar General is the place to go when you are not dressed nicely enough to shop at Walmart....

I will say this: Boise's a well known name and treated like a P5 of sorts, cross-country. It'd be better in every way to play each other at 13-0/12-1 VS a 7-5 Northwestern. :)
