Emails to Mike Bohn
Email to Mike Bohn:
I attended my first Bearcat FB game over 60 years ago. My BBA and MS are from UC. I have been a FB season ticket holder for over 25 years. We attend any road game without 500 miles. We attended every bowl game since Birmingham until last year when I realized the coach was treating the games as a Bowl-Cation.

Two years ago I signed up for 3 years of Club Seats. I hoped my donation would help maintain or better still, elevate the program.

In my business career sometimes it became clear that a new product or acquisition just wasn't working and tough choices were necessary. Often that choice involved replacing the person leading the product or subsidiary. UC FB is clearly in that situation. A new leader is needed for the FB program.

If there is no change in FB leadership when my 3 year Club Seat commitment is up I will regrettably terminate my commitment. If UC is not committed to winning I can no longer commit money to the program.

His response:
Mr. Xxxxxxxxx, thank you for your candid note. I read it twice and your points are well taken. Your commitment to the program is inspiring! Stay with us! Recruits and future personnel for the athletic program and the institution are watching. We are committed to improvement and we will work to build program we can all be proud of. Thank you once again for your support and interest in the program. MB

Well, he certainly isn't going to say in an email that he's pissed with the product on the field and with the head coach. He also didn't give a ringing endorsement either but I do appreciate he responded to you guys. Honestly, I believe like others have posted that the only way TT is gone after this season is if the team collapses and he finishes below .500.

Tell him hiring this joker was not his fault...but it is his problem. Fix it or he will end up with 8 lifetime seats in Nippert much the same as he did in his severance package from Colorado when they got rid of him.

RE: Emails to Mike Bohn
At this point, who is hoping the season tanks so we get a coaching change. Or we could end up winning 8 games, getting blown out in the breakfast bowl by a mac or mountain west team and doing this sh&t all over again next year...

I too sent a similar letter and got a similar but not duplicate response. Now having seen the media joining the angry response it is clear to me that the gig is up for CTT. It is good to know that my reaction to the idiocy of Saturday night is widely recognized. But then hey - the OC is the bad guy - right Tommy?

RE: Emails to Mike Bohn
Its still a 7-8 win team just on the basis of the number of the crappy teams we play.

He needs to be gone regardless.

CTT is gone when the donors say so.

I agree that he needs to be gone regardless. I have a growing sense that he's lost the team and they won't respond to his coaching the rest of the way.

After watching him "coach" the Bearcats--practically to a draw four straight seasons against Miami (the dregs of college football), my confidence is shaken about most all of the remaining games.

CTT is gone when the donors say so.
Revise that to "Big Donors".

Small donors like me do not affect the decision, unless in mass. Now I could be a bigger donor, easily $50k a year, but I am very fond of Cincinnati Children's and St. Jude.

Your letters to Bohn will accomplish absolutely nothing other than to make you feel better.

If the die has been cast, and UC is not getting a P5 invite, there is no reason to shell out even more $$$ for another head coach.

LOL - the concept of our behavior has a negative impact on recruits who may be watching. Pray future recruits are NOT WATCHING this train wreck. What young man who thinks he is a winner would want to be a part of this train wreck.
