No one ever called a JMU grad a nerd. They have that on us.

Not sure what kind of pass defense that was.

That was Tribe ball. Not shocked that the refs give it back to JMU.

Should've been a flag on JMU, they drove Anderson to the ground after the play was dead

That was ridiculous, but at least Hooper made a kick. Good for you, Kris.
Really need to score TD's today though. FG's not going to cut it.

Seems appropriate of the JMU refs to give us a penalty to the spot where JMU took Kendall back to, you know 15 yards back from where he was stopped.

RE: Game 6 - JMU
I missed last week's game and just happened to see Cluley's line from last week. When was the last time a Tribe QB passed for 61 yards in a game and 2 INTs and started again the next week. Unless Steve is hurt, that is just inexplicable.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am tired of hearing about complicated playbooks and our sophisticated offense. We are spending 4-5 scholarships on quarterbacks and since RJ Archer graduated, we've had exactly 1.5 seasons of competent quarterback play. I'm not talking about all-conference level play, i'm talking about competent.
Mike Callahan played well when he was healthy, and Steve had a good year last year. Other than that, the position has been a disaster.
Yes, Jimmye lost Raphael Ortiz and Paulus to the butchers of Williamsburg. And there have been some seasons where our receiver corps has been suspect - 2011 in particular. However, I think it is clear that JL has not gotten it done in terms of recruiting and developing quarterbacks over the last seven years. For the first time since 2008, he has a multi-year starter returning, and so far this year, his performance is worse than Grahrio. (Rocco, want to do some statistics on this?)
