RE: Bowl Eligibility
If South applies for the waiver (and I'm sure they will) it will be ruled upon before the end of the season.

RE: Bowl Eligibility
3 teams became eliminated this past week. Surprisingly, not as many as there probably should have been.

Just read this, thanks for including us. It is lonely in limbo.

Those and 14 more have made the cut this week. And 4 more teams also fell below the elimination line.

RE: Bowl Eligibility
New Update

Idaho joins App and Troy in the post-season while NMSU and TxSt join GSU on the couch in Dec. StAte just needs one more win to be in.

GS and ULM are teetering on the edge. Both must win out. While ULL and USA have a little bit of wiggle room where they can both afford one more loss and still make a bowl.

Interesting things to note: Oregon will miss a bowl for the first time in 12 years (missed out in 2004). And Miami (OH) has fought back from starting 0-6 to now only needing 1 win, over Ball State, to becoming eligible. That's right, went from losing 6 straight to currently on a 5 win streak.

Ranked teams losing to unranked teams...winless teams coming from the brink of death to almost snatching a bowl spot....

This season = ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I guess we are out of the bowl picture

RE: Bowl Eligibility
ULM won't get bowl eligible, but what was once the worst team in the league this season is 4-6 with a decent chance to end 5-7. They are improving as the year goes on and will be better next year.

RE: Bowl Eligibility
Now, with 3 weeks to go:

ELIGIBLE

Troy, App, Idaho

WILL BE ELIGIBLE

stAte - Needs to win 1 of their next 3 (@ Troy, @ Texas State, @ ULL). They'll get there.

SHAKY, BUT ODDS ON TO BOWL

USA - Will bowl with 2 more wins. Remaining schedule (Presbyterian, @Idaho, NMSU). USA usually blows it at the end of the year, but I think they get there. USA could lose to NMSU at home on Senior day with a bowl bid on offer and could lose to Presbyterian at home, but I think they'll get it done - barely.

UNLIKELY BUT POSSIBLE

Ga Southern - Must win @ Ga State and vs Troy. That's a tough road.

One of the following two is eliminated unless ULL wins at Georgia.

ULM - Needs to win @ App and vs. ULL. Rough road. Knock off App and it becomes odds on.
ULL - Needs 2 to bowl. Has to play Ark State and at ULM (also plays at Georgia). Possible but unlikely.

ELIMINATED

NMSU, Ga State, and Texas State

---

USA'S CHANCES OF BOWLING AT 6-6. Looking shaky but currently likely. Right now, I have 77 teams in before a 6-6 USA (including Army who will finish 6-6 with 2 FCS wins and will be picked first).

Basically, here are the flies in the ointment (teams that I don't have bowling)..Ball State, only 1 from CMU/Akron, Cal, UCLA, only 1 from Vandy/Ole Miss/Miss State, Notre Dame, Duke, BC, Syracuse, SMU, Cincy, only 1 of TCU/Tech, only 1 of Charlotte/UTSA, only 1 of UNT/USM.
