The last two weeks have been eye opening, but to be honest we all thought this team would be 0-4 right now.
The next three games feature opponents who have a combined 3-11 record, and VMI has two of them with wins over non scholarship Morehead State and Bucknell, who is 1-3. I feel like all three are VERY winnable football games for this team, and should lead to the Bucs having five wins in mid October with Cumberland and a very pedestrian Mercer team still on the schedule.
If this team plays to its potential, there is NO REASON whatsoever they shouldn't finish 7-4, though I feel like 5-6/6-5 is what will probably happen. I'm holding out hope for 7 wins. I believe they can get there, and a 7-4 team sets up expectations for year three. Heck, 5-6 and I feel like we should have higher expectations.

Win 2 out of the next 3, and I consider it a success. Bucs have a real chance to win all 3.

It's hard for me to make any prediction for our team because we are so young and play up and down. Feel like the defense has got a lot better from last year but the offense is still looking to find its way.

The next 2-3 games will tell us a lot about this team. I'll be honest, if you told me before the start of the year we win 4 games I wouldn't have believed it, but now after seeing other teams I feel like 5-6 wins is something we have a chance at.
