We've lost to plenty of teams under Tubs where we had better players than the opposition. I won't underestimate the coaching impact against anyone we play.

When we hired TT I was hopeful. Shortly after the hire I was in a store and someone was nearby wearing a TT Red Raiders shirt. I nicely said "Thanks for our new coach" , she said "I bet you won't thank me in a year!"

It's not just that we are getting beat, it's how we've been beat. I wouldn't be shocked if some posters on these boards could game plan better than our coaching staff. You're right about the other teams having better coaches and season records, that cannot be argued. But players? I'm not so sure... Hard to tell how good players are when the coaching rarely puts them in position to win.

With that said, I see UC winning 27-24

gulp, gulp, gulp...keep drinking the Kool-Aid. I think it just shows that most of us are realists, not living in some TT dream world where our football team is even a glimmer of what it was 6+ years ago. This is prediction thread, not a wish thread.

Funny how you can say that when you look at our final score against UH at HOME and then look at the the UH/Uconn score with UConn on the road...40-16, 42-14. I will agree that UConn is not good by any stretch, but neither are we. Miami OH is still winless and they gave us all we could handle and we played with a ton of hype and emotion at home against UH, that is the only reason it was so close early on.

I predicted a close game and one in which I feel UConn will win at home against a very equally matched UC team...not being a "baby", just keeping it real...very big difference there jr.

This is the same coach who lost to 3-9 Illinois and 2-10 USF a couple years ago. We should win at UConn but if there's someone who can find a way to lose it's Tubs.
